Evaluation of the Effects of Neptune Krill Oil

Evaluation of the Effects of Neptune Krill Oil on the clinical coursework of hyperlipidemia
Humanities & krill oil

A multicenter, three-month, potential, randomized, followed by a period of months of follow-controlled patients receiving one g & one.5 g krill oil every day. Group A received krill oil at a body mass index (BMI)-dependent every day dose of 2-3 g per day. Patients in group B received one.1. five g krill oil every day, & group C was given fish oil containing 180 mg of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) & docosahexaenoic acid 120 mg (DHA) per gram of oil at a dose of three g per day. Patients with high levels of lipids able to maintain a healthy diet with levels of cholesterol in blood between 194 & 348 mg per dL were eligible for inclusion in the trial. A sample of 120 patients (30 patients per group) were randomly assigned to of groups. Group D received a placebo containing microcrystalline cellulose. The krill oil used in this study was Neptune Krill Oil, offered by Neptune Technologies & Bioresources, Laval, Quebec, Canada.

Evaluation of the Effects of Neptune Krill Oil in the treatment of premenstrual syndrome & dysmenorrhea.

Double blind, randomized clinical trials. Seventy patients of reproductive age diagnosed with premenstrual syndrome according to the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, third edition revised (DSM-III-R). Information analysis showed a significant reduction of analgesic used for dysmenorrhea in the coordination group (comparing baseline vs. 45 - against 90 days of access). Treatment period of months with the NCB & fish oil omega-3. Self-assessment questionnaire based on the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOG) diagnostic criteria for premenstrual syndrome & dysmenorrhea & number of analgesics used for dysmenorrhea. In 70 patients with complete information, a statistically significant improvement was demonstrated in basic, intermediate & final self-assessment questionnaire in the NCB group & between groups with regard to fish oil, after cycles or 45 to 90 days of treatment.

Inflammation, PCR

Neptune Krill Oil estimating the impact of chronic inflammation & arthritic signs.

Ninety patients were enrolled with a confirmed diagnosis of heart issues & / or rheumatoid arthritis & / or osteoarthritis & with increased levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) (> one.0 mg / dl) of blood in consecutive weeks. Group A received NKO (300 mg per day) & group B received placebo. After 7 days of treatment NKO reduced CRP by 19% compared with an increase of 15% in the placebo group. After 14 & 30 days of treatment NKO further decreased CRP by 29% & 30% respectively. CRP levels in the placebo group, 32% after 14 days, then decreased to 25% on day 30. NKO showed a significant reduction in all WOMAC scores. After 7 days of treatment, NKO reduced pain scores of 28, reduced stiffness by 20% & reduced functional impairment by 22%.

Primary parameters tested (baseline & 90-day visit) were total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, HDL & glucose. At lower doses & equality, krill oil was significantly more effective than fish oil to reduce blood glucose levels of triglycerides & LDL. Krill oil 1-3 g per day (based on body mass index) was found to be effective in reducing glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL & HDL, compared with fish oil to times & the placebo. The results of this study indicate a high degree of confidence that krill oil is effective in the treatment of hyperlipidemia by reducing the total cholesterol, HDL, LDL & triglycerides & increases.

The results of this study clearly indicate that NKO at a every day dose of 300 mg significantly inhibits inflammation & reduces arthritic signs within a short treatment of 7 to 14 days.

The analysis between groups showed that females taking analgesics consumed significantly less coordination in the work of the 10-day treatment of females who received omega-3 fish oil. Neptune Krill Oil can reduce dysmenorrhea & the emotional signs of PMS & is shown to be significantly more effective for the whole management of premenstrual signs compared with fish oil omega-3.
